Vetting & Application Process
Safety first. For every tenant, every time.
Before anyone moves in, we run a thorough vetting process because your safety, and the safety of everyone sharing a building, comes first.
That means verifying employment, checking credit, and running a background check on every applicant, no exceptions.
What We Verify
- Proof of steady income or employment
- Credit history
- Background check
- Valid photo identification
If You’d Like to Move Forward
Once you’re ready to proceed, here’s what we’ll need from you:
- Last 2 paystubs, or an employment offer letter showing salary (if it’s a new job)
- Last 2 bank account statements (account number may be blacked out)
- Credit report
- Background check
- Copy of a government-issued photo ID
For Students
If you’re a student, we’ll verify your school acceptance letter, and we’ll need a parent or guardian to complete the full verification above on your behalf. For international students we will also need your VISA documentation and copy of your passport.
Renter’s Insurance
Renter’s insurance is required for every tenant, at every property, it’s a condition of our own property insurance.
We recommend Lemonade, which runs about $10/month and is fast to set up online.
